I have spent the better part of my life hiking, with a camera, looking for the perfect photograph. In 1987, for High School Graduation, I was given my first good camera. From that day on, I was hooked! Spent 5 years in the US Army, capturing photos every step of the way. After the Army, hiking trips & many miles, were what occupied most of my free time... with a camera in tow. Even picked up the nick-name "scoop".

In my photographs, I have attempted to capture the feel of the moment they are taken. To me, photography is more than just capturing an image, it is my passion to help save that special moment in everyone’s life. Helping with the making of memories is key to my satisfaction. Let me help to make your day special.
Hope you love what you see!!

As part of the senior team one summer when I was lead photographer of the JK Territory of Lifetouch, I had two seniors who wanted to do some fun photos at their school. I am so happy with how this image turned out. I love the background light and my use of limited flash. Everyone loved it!
I took this photo when I was the Lead photographer and Sports photographer of the JK Territory of Lifetouch. It was the 1st time this territory had any award in a long time. I am so glad the team was willing to have some fun that day!
At a school prom, I we set up in an outside courtyard with brick wall all around. I found a couple who had been willing to try out something with me. I wanted to have them with a sunset background. To make it more realistic, I set up a red gel behind the water fountain.
In post-production, I edited out the brick wall and added a sunset I had taken a year or so before. I think it turned out grea
A family I had known at the church I went to in Florida, have a son who was going to be a senior. So, I had them out to my house to do senior photos. A bunch turned out great, but this image is my favorite. The extra stuff around the image was for a different photo contest.
My ex-wife was doing a paper on a Cherakee woman who was using dance as a therapy. She needed photos for the paper. So, I did this shoot for them. They all got the photos for free, and I got to play! I love to play with light!
